TTUHSC Faculty and Students Use Fun Environment to Help Children Manage Diabetes

Camp New Day is a non-profit summer camp for children with diabetes that was originally started over 35 years ago. Thomas Parker, an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the Pediatrics Division at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, took over as co-director of the camp when it was going to be ended in 2009.
